So Odd Man Out, a 1947 film noir set in Belfast and directed by Carol Reed (who two years later would direct the much better known The Third Man with Orson Welles and, umm, Oliver--because they are so similar...) clearly plays a big part in Anna and Deeley's stories from their London days.
